TOPIC: He Is In Control (DCLM Daily Manna 26 July 2022)
TEXT: Daniel 7:9-14 (KJV)
9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire .
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that shall not be destroyed .

DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:
As we watch events unfold all over the world, it appears that there is never going to be an end to the reign of evil. Atrocities unheard of before are being committed every day. Governments of the world seem to have run out of ideas as to how to contain and curtail this monster that is consuming the world. But will this continue forever?

The passage under consideration gives us the comforting answer. Daniel is given the vision of the final overthrow of the kingdoms of wickedness as the Ancient of days sits on His throne of holiness and great splendour. It is a vision of the events of the last days when the kingdoms of this world, under the rule of Satan, will be brought to an end and Satan himself with his agents will be brought to judgment. God will then set up His everlasting Kingdom that will be sovereign.
While this vision points to a future fulfillment, it has a present day application form which the believer can draw hope and comfort. Though evil may reign unchecked in the world; in the life of the believer and in all matters that concern him, the Ancient of days sits on the throne and He is in complete control.
Let this be your comfort and strength. But if you are still a sinner, you must give up sin and accept Christ’s reign over your life. Only then can you have peace in this troubled world.

- Ask Jesus to come down at the crusade and reign with full manifestation of His power.
